Construction Trade Program
About The Pre-Apprenticeship Program
Students will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge they have learned to function in a real-world construction work environment: i.e. being a part of a supervised work crew, getting their hands (in work gloves) dirty, receiving instructions and having to carry them out in a timely manner, carrying heavy stuff, using a port-a-john, packing their lunch, arriving on time and ready to work, etc. They will see firsthand some of the rewards of construction in helping to transform a home and seeing the vision of what they can accomplish with their own hands with proper instruction.
